Checking Starmobile's FaceBook page was an announcement that the Starmobile Diamond S1 is now made available which can be purchased in Starmobile kiosks and other stores nationwide for a price of Php8,990. The letter 'S' from S1 stands for 'style' because it's the most stylish phone today. The best feature of this phone is its 5-inch curved-edge display which is a scratch resistant glass.

Running and using multiple applications is made possible with Diamond S1's MediaTek MT6582M Chipset and 1.3GHz Quad Core processor. It's even better and more enhanced by the addition of Mali-400MP GPU. Another interesting feature of this device is its cameras that are equipped with BSI sensors ensuring that the user can capture perfectly clear photos.

OTA or 'Over-The-Air' is supported by Starmobile Diamond S1 which is a very useable feature allowing the users to freely update their phone to the latest version of Android through Wi-Fi connection without the need of plugging a cord right into the PC. By default, Diamond S1 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. In addition to the OTA Software Updates, this device also have a 'Starmobile Sync' function that enables users to transfer data from their old phone (any brand) to Diamond S1 via Bluetooth. Such data can be Contacts, Messages, Calendar and other sorts of files.
